Thesis:
During the World War I there were battles being fought, like the Battle of Arras. This battle included different countries all over the world that fought for two different empires. The two Empires included in this war was the British Empire and the German Empire. The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Newfoundland and New Zealand were some of the ones that fought for the British Empire. The countries that fought along with the German Empire were Prussia, Bavaria, Saxony, Wurttemberg, and the Grand Duchy of Baden. Moreover, this battle demonstrates that World War 1 was a “Global war” and not just a European conflict because other countries, not only European countries, were part of the Battle of Arras.
